The Premier Scratch Removal Solution for Fine Watches Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed!
Every day tiny scuffs and scratches accumulate on your watch usually without your noticing. Take a close look at your watch right now, pay special attention to the bracelet near the fastener. That is daily wear and tear, it shows up everywhere on the watch but especially near the fastener. Those scuffs may look quite ugly but those wear and tear scuffs can be easily removed by my polishing kits. A quick word on the Cape Cod Cloth: You may have already tried the Cape Cod Cloth which is hailed as some kind of wonder scratch remover on the watch forums only to be disappointed at the results. The trouble is that the Cape Cod Cloth was never intended to remove scuff and scratches, read the label on the package or can that it comes in. It is a Petroleum distillate based polish which works absolutely great to remove tarnish, grime and shine smooth (non scuffed) metal surfaces. I do not wish to dissuade anyone from using the Cape Cod Cloth; when used for its intended purpose it is a really a very effective product.
The watchbandrenew kit is completely different from the Cape Cod Cloth, my kits work microscopically at the physical level. It removes scuffs and scratches by honing the metal surface to remove microscopic layers of material and can produce a pristine smooth surface that is near visually perfect. The abrasives in my kits are Aluminum Oxide, has a Mohs hardness of 9, Diamond is 10. The abrasive are extremely fine and are graded from 30 microns to 1 micron.
What is a micron? 1 micron is 0.001 mm or 0.00004 inch, the abrasive particles on the 1 micron sheet will produce a virtually flawless finish as long as you follow all of the steps of the instructions included with each kit. To better understand just how fine the abrasive are consider this:
A Grain of Table Salt = 100 microns
A Human Hair (average diameter) = 50-70 microns
A White Blood Cell = 25 microns
Talcum Powder = 10 microns
A Red Blood Cell = 8 microns
Bacteria (Cocci) = 2 microns
Used for semi-monthly maintenance of a single all metal watch you can expect this kit to last about a year. Differences in hardness of the metals and the initial condition of the watch or ring will cause your usage to vary.
To remove scratches from a complete watch band can take anywhere from 10 minutes to about an hour depending on the number of scratches and if you desire final satin finish or mirror finish (mirror finishes require more time). A gold ring only takes a couple minutes, the same for silver and titanium, platinum takes a bit longer as it is a harder metal. Following the easy instructions included with each kit will enable to remove the unsightly scuffs and restore the finish to like new condition!
Please download the Step-by-Step instructions that accompany the kit and learn how and why the kit works so well. For just a fraction of the cost a jeweler would charge; you can remove practically any scuff or scratch caused by normal wear and tear!
Severely damaged surfaces (gouged, pitted, cracked) can also benefit from use of this kit by lessening the damage but will not regain like new appearance.

These kits should not be used on any plated surfaces to include certain white gold alloys. Some white gold is plated with Palladium to improve its appearance. Use of these kits on plated metals will remove a certain amount of the plating which may reveal the base metal, the only fix to this is to have the item re-plated. It is your responsibility to know whether your item is plated or not.
