gold alloys. Some white gold is plated with Palladium to improve its
appearance. Use of these kits on plated metals will remove a certain
amount of the plating which may reveal the base metal, the only fix to
this is to have the item re-plated. It is your responsibility to know
whether your item is plated or not.
